Matt seeks to delve into the emotional portrayal of figurative art revolving around emotion, isolating, individualism, and alienation in contrast to the frail beauty of his subject.
Rhonda Evans is a local artist and owner of Glocca Morra Studio. She works in a wide variety of mediums, including glass, mosiac, mixed media, and alcohol ink. Her artwork often has a more whimsical side in its use of colour and form. She draws much of her influence from Newfoundland and Ireland, where her family has roots.
Pat Shea is a local Kingston artist who specializes in oil painting. His work primarily focuses on cityscapes and landscapes, but he is also a talented portrait artist. His paintings utilize an Impressionistic style, and he draws much of his inspiration from travel throughout Canada and Europe.
Ian Spreadbury is a local photographer who has captured many images of iconic Kingston landmarks throughout the years.
Sally Chupick is originally from Nova Scotia and lived in Kingston for a few years. During her time in Kingston, she painted a large number of works depicting the beauty of the city.
