Alyssa Bardy
We’re thrilled to host a solo exhibition by Alyssa Bardy, an Indigenous photographer whose work deeply explores the connections between people, place, and memory. Alyssa is Upper Cayuga from Six Nations of the Grand River, and her imagery often reflects themes of motherhood, Indigenous reconnection, nationhood, and our sacred bond with land.
Her quiet, natural-light portraits and landscapes invite viewers into moments of reflection, storytelling, and remaking of narrative. Birds, memory, and symbolism frequently guide her compositions as she weaves together personal histories, ancestral knowing, and contemporary experiences.
Join us at Belleville Frameworks from October 11 through November 15 to experience Alyssa’s incredible photography.
